Localizing California Waters welcomes you to the 2026 LCW annual conference, “Catalyze. Connect. Transform. Local Habitat, Fire, Water Resilience for Thriving Communities.” We are thrilled to gather this year at the stunning Rush Creek Lodge, right on the doorstep of Yosemite, to connect, collaborate, and drive meaningful change.

Our 2026 theme focuses on the deeply interconnected nature of our landscapes and our people. Achieving true regional resilience requires us to break down silos. This year, we are diving deep into how local, ground-level transformations can scale up to create healthy, thriving watershed communities—integrating proactive fire management, sustainable water stewardship, and robust habitat restoration.
