If you know a dedicated leader, pioneering project, or impactful organization making a difference in your community through design, engineering, activism, advocacy or with their boots on the ground, we encourage you to submit a nomination!

Watershed Jedi Award
 (Lifetime Achievement)

The Watershed Jedi Award honors those who have demonstrated dedication to creating a climate-resilient California through local approaches. This award recognizes individuals or groups who have worked for years in their field to support and empower communities adapting to environmental challenges.

Golden Beaver Award (Community Builder)

The Golden Beaver Award honors individuals, groups, or projects that exemplify the spirit of community by organizing and mobilizing communities to develop resilient solutions to climate extremes through collaboration and grassroots initiatives.

The Golden Pen Award recognizes outstanding designers, strategic planners who are working for and within communities to create thriving environments. This award honors creative practices and visionary projects that demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.

Golden Eagle Award (Policy) 

The Golden Eagle Award recognizes those who are making significant strides in advancing policies that prioritize local actions and increase funding for projects throughout the state. This award honors those dedicated to supporting local solutions, especially for disadvantaged communities, youth, workforce development, and education.
